Advantages

The Installation

It is necessary to have a clean cement floor. Protruding edges and stones should therefore be removed. Any minor unevenness in the surface will not cause any problem to the material and it will adapt accordingly. The first stage is to lay the edge insulation strips, which are made, for example, from light, expanded material or mineral fibres. Next the Regupol 6010 BA is rolled out. Note: due to winding tensions it is possible that the sheet will shrink back slightly in its length. We recommend therefore, that the insulation sheeting be pulled up a few centimetres over the front of the edge insulation strips. After a few hours the sheet can then be cut to the correct length. The material should be laid flush and adhered together with an appropriate adhesive, in order to avoid noise transmission paths.
